I didn’t expect to do so many pictures for the theme “Travel and see the world,” but it just happened that I had bought a new package of scrapbook paper the week before, with a travel theme. Some of the papers appear in the pictures (such as this one), and others served as inspiration.

This picture reminds me of myself, when I was in my 20’s, flying alone from New York to London for my job as sous chef in a private home. It was an exciting time in my life.

The perfectly lovely Snowflake Sonata had no trouble climbing this tree (which I made just for this theme) because this picture is a flat lay. I love flat lays! You can do so much more when you aren’t fighting gravity!
