These are my two newest dolls: Lovely Katherine’s Corner (Blythe) and Sweetie (Momiji). There was a sale on select Momiji dolls before Christmas—buy one, get one free—and I couldn’t say no! The very beautifully detailed Key Lime pie was a gift from my friend Julie (thanks Julie! I love it!)
Would it be Christmas without a new doll? Not in this house! Lovely Katherine’s Corner (right) joined the Blythe family this week, and she looks like Snowflake Sonata’s long-lost twin. They both have special brown eyelashes, and they both have a pink pull ring, and of course they both have long, gorgeous pink hair with bangs. I have always loved SS and considered getting a second one…I’m glad I held off doing that, because Katherine fills that spot perfectly.
Round up the reindeer—it’s Christmas!

This Blythe doll is Daunting Drusilla. I found her books at our local antique mall last week; they are meant to be ornaments, but they are perfect dolly books because they have words and images inside, not just blank pages. The background is wrapping paper—isn’t it cute?

This lovely Blythe doll is Spring Hope. My lovely friend Angie Coppi made the super cute kitty cushions on the sofa. She and I exchanged Christmas packages, and she also sent me the pretty candy-striped dress and the dolly-sized cakes, among other things. Thanks Angie!
