You have to take advantage of nice spring weather when you can. Today is a beautiful day to walk through the topiary garden at the park.
This Blythe doll is Quintessential Journey for the theme “Walk in the Park” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. She’s wearing an outfit from WoolyRockers on Etsy.
Is it all smoke and mirrors…or is it actually magic? Catch Milly the Magnificent’s midnight show at the Palladian on Friday night and see for yourself.

You know that spring is here when the trees are blooming, and the fruit kebab seller returns to the park.
This Blythe doll is Suri Sustainable, posing for the theme “Something on a stick” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. I just unboxed her, and she is lovely! Her hair is super thick, and a rich reddish-brown color. It was fine right out of the box—but I was giving some other dolls a spa, so I washed her hair too. Her latte complexion gives her a unique look; she fills a gap in my collection that I didn’t know was there. Her stock outfit is nice, with lots of versatile separates that will mix and match with other dolls’ stock outfits. I’m looking forward to taking more pictures of her!

Even though I usually save the silly puns for Valentine’s Day, I couldn’t resist going in that direction for today’s theme, “Waffle”, in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. This beautiful Blythe doll is Devi Delacour. As you may have noticed, the waffle isn’t real; I printed a picture from the internet and cut it out.
“I don’t care for cocktails. I’d rather have fresh, cold lemonade!”
Mrs. Retro Mama was the perfect choice for this picture because of her lemon-yellow hair. The theme is actually “Cocktail” (not lemonade!) but I don’t have any sort of cocktail props. I drew the pitcher of lemonade on my chalkboard, using a picture from the internet as a reference.
This Blythe Middie doll is Yellow Marshmallow, posing for the theme “Puppy” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. She’s showing off the new outfit and shoes that we were recently gifted (thanks Angie!)
If a girl can’t goof off on Saturday morning, when can she goof off?

Please come join our “Laugh More, Worry Less” parade, starting RIGHT NOW in front of the old sardines billboard. Bring your bike, skateboard, wagon, etc.; leave your cares behind!
You would never guess that the theme for this picture is “National Panda Day”, would you?! You can see the antique toy with pandas, in the front, that was my starting point. They just seemed to be leading a parade, so the other dolls (and cats) joined them. The Middie Blythe dolls are Puchippu Chappu Pepa and Yellow Marshmallow. My artist daughter made the weathered billboard.
“To confess a fault freely is the next thing to being innocent of it.” -Publilius Syrus
Devi Delacour wants to be sure you realize that she merely modeled for the magazine cover; she is NOT the person who committed any of the indiscretions you can read about inside.

Brains AND beauty! What a doll!
This Blythe doll is Juno Estella, looking gorgeous in her second stock outfit. Yes, I actually wrote all those equations on my chalk board for her to pose with. I’m not a math whiz; I had help from my friend Google.
A girl can dream of winning an Oscar, can’t she?
This is the lovely, fabulous and amazing Juno Estella, fresh from her box. She is one of three new girls who have arrived to help me celebrate my birthday month! I haven’t even washed her hair yet (I will!) but I wanted to photograph her in this pretty pink gown for the theme “Oscar Night” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr, and I didn’t have time to wait for her hair to dry.

What’s in a name? That which we call a daffodil by any other name would look as cheerful.
This is my obligatory springtime Blythe picture with the daffodils blooming near my front door. What a joy to see them year after year! This Blythe doll is Mrs. Retro Mama, for the theme “The Meaning of Your Name” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr.
Start your day off right with a good breakfast!
This cute Middie Blythe doll is Smiley Waffle…so why isn’t she eating waffles? Because this picture is for the theme “Cereal” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr! It’s also for the theme “Rise and Shine” in the Blythe Pure and Simple group on Facebook. She’s wearing Cool Pool Lemonade’s stock dress.

This Blythe doll is Playful Raindrops, posing in her Barbie car for the theme “If Pets Had Thumbs” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The dog came in a McDonalds Happy Meal a few years ago.
