The best part of waking up is coffee in your cup!
This pretty Blythe doll is Blue Rabbit, posing for the theme “Coffee” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. I made the sun from colored paper a few years ago, and I’m glad to have a chance to use it again. This crocheted blanket is from Etsy.
It’s fun to look for bird nests in the spring…just watch out for protective mama birds!
This Blythe doll is Suri Sustainable posing for the theme “Bird” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr.
“I like you more than cookies!”
This sweet Blythe doll is Playful Raindrops, posing for the theme “Cookie” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The background is a coloring poster—it’s like a coloring book in poster form. I colored it with markers, and it was fun! I bought it a couple of years ago, hoping to color it (and some others I bought at the same time) with my mother who had dementia and couldn’t do many things. Although I set up a poster (not this one) for us to work on together and handed her a colored pencil, she never colored very much, but another lady came over (uninvited) and started coloring with gusto! I am going to finish that one next and I will show it off as the background in a doll picture when it’s done.
Take time every day to enjoy and appreciate your life, my friends.

Life is sweet. Why not enjoy a cupcake?
This Blythe doll is Lovely Katherine’s Corner, for the theme “I’m Hungry” in the Blythe Pure and Simple group on Facebook.
I like to take a doll picture every day just to be creative, but I’ve missed several days lately. Today I challenged myself to go into my doll room and not come out until I had a picture, so I chose a piece of scrapbooking paper for the background and dressed Katherine to coordinate with it. Put a cupcake in her hand, and there you go! Quick and easy!
You can’t have too many flowers.
This Blythe doll is Suri Sustainable. Her fun trousers are from Filledereve on Etsy.
There are so many beautiful reasons to be happy.
This Blythe doll is Cinema Princess. The little boy doll is a Sonny Angel. The rainbow dress was made by an artist named Aimee Ray. Earlier in her career she made a lot of cute Blythe dresses (I found a picture of this one in her Flickr account, dated 2012.)
It was a nice, friendly game of Musical Chairs—until the music stopped.
These competitive Blythe dolls are Float Away Dream, Pow Wow Poncho, Lady Camellia, Good Neighbor Cafe, and Francoise Ananassa (Middie). This picture is for the theme “Have a Seat” in the Blythe Pure and Simple group on Facebook.
Wishing a happy Easter Day to all! From Vera Florentine, Spring Hope, Nellie Nibbles, and My Melody.
Almost ready for Easter!
This Blythe doll is Spring Hope. She is wearing her own stock hat and Junie Moonie Cutie’s stock dress.
Three cheers for the queen of the carrot festival! Oh look, she’s going to throw you a carrot! Catch!
This Blythe doll is Cloud 9 Bowl. I have been collecting carrot props every spring for several years, and I finally have so many that an entire carrot-themed picture is called for!
“The view from the top is great! I can see the Easter Bunny from here!”
This Blythe Middie doll is Nellie Nibbles, wearing her stock outfit.
Easter is almost here! Have you colored your eggs yet?
This lovely Blythe doll is My Melody, wearing her stock outfit. I saw this cute bunny wheelbarrow in a store last month and I knew it would be great for a doll picture.
I think she’s going to need a bigger basket.
This Middie Blythe is Nellie Nibbles, wearing her stock outfit. The chicken is a Steif that I bought in Germany about 30 years ago (how time flies!). The felted duck wearing boots is an ornament I bought this year.
Easter’s on it’s way!
I just gathered up all my Easter props and decorations; I hope to post an Easter picture every day this week. Colored eggs always set the scene! This bright and beautiful Blythe doll is Fani Flamingo.
After a long day of traveling, there’s nothing better than a big cup of coffee.
This is my new Blythe doll, Quintessential Journey. She is absolutely gorgeous with that long purple hair, and WOW, her stock outfit is so well made! The blouse and skirt are so detailed. I like that she comes with two things to wear on her head: a very nice hat that matches her coat, and a pretty hair bow to wear with her skirt and blouse. Other things I love: the cute little gloves with pearls on the wrist, and the sturdy suitcase—I really appreciate a good prop for photos.
The coffee shop is a jigsaw puzzle I received for my birthday from my thoughtful friend Angie. She chose this one so I could use it as a doll photo background! I love it, it looks great! Thanks Angie!
