This Blythe doll is Coquette Lumiere, posing for 30 Days of Apples in Blythe Pure and Simple on Facebook. The background and mask are scrapbooking paper; the words were added in PicMonkey.

Isn’t it nice to get an unexpected compliment?!
This Blythe doll is Prima Dolly Marigold, posing for 30 Days of Apples in Blythe Pure and Simple on Facebook. The apple core is a wooden ornament.
Cece got a vendor’s license, so she is selling apples in New York City! Her slogan is “Don’t settle for a hot dog; enjoy an APPLE!”
This Blythe doll is Cinema Princess, posing for 30 Days of Apples in Blythe Pure and Simple on Facebook. The apple-head Sonny Angel is part of a New York City set. Cece’s outfit was in the goody bag I got at BlytheCon NYC in 2013. Hat by Poppy Tree Lane on Etsy.
Five servings of fruit and vegetables every day? That’s a lot of chewing!
This Blythe doll is Heavenly Strawberry, posing for 30 Days of Apples in Blythe Pure and Simple on Facebook. The background is a fun jigsaw puzzle I recently completed, and her egg chair is for Bratz dolls.
The harvest this year has been great! The apples are bigger than ever!
These Middie Blythe dolls are Smiley Waffle and Nellie Nibbles, posing in a flat lay for 30 Days of Apples in the Blythe Pure and Simple group on Facebook.
Which will sell better at the Farmer’s Market this week: apples or pumpkins? It’s hard to say, but the competition will motivate both girls to be better sales persons!
These Blythe dolls are Devi Delacour and Cloud 9 Bowl, posing for 30 Days of Apples in the Blythe Pure and Simple group on Facebook. The pumpkin truck came from Target last year. The cute helmets came from an Etsy seller who is no longer active (Poppy Tree Lane).
Make time to dilly-dally with your friends.
This Middie Blythe doll is Nellie Nibbles, posing with her Sonny Angel friends for 30 Days of Apples in the Blythe Pure and Simple group on Facebook. The background is a painting my daughter made for me. Someday I will make pants for the Sonny Angels!
If life gives you apples, make apple pie! Or caramel apples! Or apple juice!
This Blythe doll is Sarah Shades, posing with her Sonny Angel friend for 30 Days of Apples in the Blythe Pure and Simple group on Facebook. The hutch and appliances in the background came from the antique mall.
Marina has a recurring dream, in which she is sitting outside while it’s raining apples. That would be scary if she wasn’t wearing a helmet!
This Blythe doll is Playful Raindrops, posing for 30 Days of Apples in the Blythe Pure and Simple group on Facebook. I found this apple sign at the antique mall, and I was really on the fence about spending $11 on it…it’s not something I will be able to use very much in doll pictures, but it is perfect for this month of apple pictures! I will try to use it at least once more this month, then maybe I will find a place for it in on a shelf in my house, grouping it with other fun objects for a colorful vignette.
When picking apples remember: safety first! Ask a friend to hold to ladder while you climb. Then share the apples with her!
These Blythe dolls are Donna Doughnut and Vera Florentine, posing for the theme “Apples “ in the Blythe Pure and Simple group on Facebook. The ladder is from Boyd’s Bears.
All Blythe dolls are as sweet as pie; don’t you agree?
This Middie Blythe doll is Apple Jamlicious, wearing her stock outfit and posing for 30 Days of Apples in the Blythe Pure and Simple group on Facebook. This gorgeous pie prop came from Etsy.
Dream is hard at work, sewing dresses for the giveaway for the 30 Days of Apples photo challenge in the Blythe Pure and Simple group on Facebook. Next up: matching headbands! You can enter the raffle by posting a picture in the group with a stock Blythe doll and any sort of apple. Why not join us? The winners also received a limited edition 2025 Blythe doll wall calendar! WOW!
As they were setting up their booth at the Farmers Market, Sadie and Odette realized that they had forgotten to bring their sign. Oh no! What to do? They managed to find some paper and colored pencils, and went to work. Ten minutes later, the problem was solved.
These Blythe dolls are Sadie Sprinkle and Odette Lake of Tears, posing for two things: 30 Days of Apples, and Astrid’s giveaway, both on Facebook. The background is a jigsaw puzzle.
Who can resist fried apples? Yum, yum!
This Blythe doll is Precocious Candy’s Mushroom posing with her Sonny Angel friend for another “Apple” themed picture in the Blythe Pure and Simple group on Facebook. You can enter the raffle to win a dress similar to the one she’s wearing (with a blue background instead of yellow, with a matching headband) just by posting a picture with apples and a stock Blythe doll in the group this month!
If you are wondering about these canned apples, here’s the deal: they are just apple slices that have been simmered in a light syrup with cinnamon. If you want actual fried apples, you have to follow the recipe on the can and cook them yourself! I feel that the name of this product is misleading!
Bunny always carries an apple in her bag, “just in case”, and it really came in handy today. She lured this wild horse and her foal back to the apple farm, and now she doesn’t need to buy a donkey to pull the apple cart!
This Blythe doll is Blue Rabbit, wearing Rachel’s Ribbon’s stock dress, coat and boots. The horses are from the antique mall. This is for the 30 Days of Apples challenge in the Blythe Pure and Simple group on Facebook.
“Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.” —from The Desiderata by Max Ehrmann
Don’t forget to wear a hat if you go outside today. The November weather is quite chilly in Blytheville.
This is Heavenly Strawberry wearing most of her stock outfit (the boots came from Nicky Lad). Her stock hat is a bit weird; it’s almost a complete sphere, and the only way I could get it to work is to tuck the bottom half inside. Even then, it won’t stay tucked by itself; I had to sew it in place. Now it’s cute! For the theme “Apples”.
“Come on, Vera! One, two, three, HEAVE-HO!” The first item on their list of things to buy with the money from the farm stand is: a donkey to pull the apple cart!
These two Neo Blythe dolls are Vera Florentine and Prima Dolly Cassis; riding in the cart is my newest Middie, Parson Grace. The background is a jigsaw puzzle I recently completed. This picture is for the theme “Apples” in the Blythe Pure and Simple group on Facebook.
Here comes Donna with another load of apples for the farm stand. She is such a hard worker!
This Blythe doll is Donna Doughnut, with a cute apple-themed wheelbarrow from the antique mall. This is one of the props that inspired me to do a month of “apple” photos.
It’s “All hands on deck” at the orchard when the apples are ripe! Devi always volunteers to run the farm stand.
This Blythe doll is Devi Delacour, posing with the cute farm stand I found at the antique mall. I found the gorgeous apple sculpture she’s holding there too (it’s by Jim Shore).
Strange but true: Strawberry reports that her favorite fruit is an apple, not a strawberry!!
This Blythe doll is Heavenly Strawberry, posing on a jigsaw puzzle. This picture serves two purposes: it kicks off this month of “Apple” themed pictures (hopefully I will be able to come up with 30 pictures for this) and it introduces my newest Blythe. Her hair is so bright and so, so thick! I absolutely LOVE the way her lip color perfectly matches her hair, and her blush does too. She’s a gem!
I love the cute graphics on her box!
We hope everyone has a great day full of spooky fun!
These Blythe dolls are Simply Mango and Simply Guava…I made an effort this month to use different dolls than I usually think of for Halloween, and different colors overall, so I’m quite pleased with this flat lay.
I’m going strong, taking doll pictures for Blythe 366 (sponsored by Cindy Lyon on Instagram). Usually I follow the monthly prompts in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr, but sometimes I strike out on my own, for one reason or another. November will be one of those months, here’s why: I found some charming apple-themed props at the antique mall and I want to get some good use out of them now, before December, when every picture will be Christmas themed. So my theme for November will be APPLES!
In a clearing in the woods, the Mushroom Witch tends to her little garden.
This Petite Blythe doll is Sweet Spell Scarlet, posing for the theme “Mushroom” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The background is a coloring book page.
Witch Penny has been slacking off lately. She hasn’t cast a spell in weeks, and her brooms are covered in spiderwebs. With Halloween right around the corner, this situation might call for an intervention!
This Blythe doll is Cloud 9 Bowl; she’s one of my Halloween regulars because of her beautiful orange hair. This is for the theme “Spiderweb” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr.
After you’ve been out shopping, it’s great to get back to your home sweet haunted home.
This Blythe doll is Daunting Drusilla, posing for the theme “Home Sweet Haunted Home” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The background is a jigsaw puzzle.
Can there be too many pumpkins on Halloween? No, no there cannot!
This Blythe doll is Bow Wow Trad for the theme “Pumpkin Head” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The background is a print on canvas. She made her own mask from construction paper! So crafty! Her candy bucket is a reproduction of a vintage piece.
“The chief function of the body is to carry the brain around.” —Thomas A. Edison
This Blythe doll is Tokyo Bright, posing for the theme “Use Your Brain” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The brain is a novelty eraser that came packaged in the jar. Her long boots came out of a Mini Brands Fashion surprise ball.
“Beware; for I am fearless, and therefore powerful.” —spoken by Dr. Frankenstein’s monster in Mary Shelley’s novel Frankenstein
Daunting Drusilla is posing for the theme “Beware” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr.
The best thing about living in a formidable ruin is that people never come to my door!
This Blythe doll is Hollywood, posing for the theme “Formidable Ruin” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The background is a photo backdrop from Amazon.
“Everyone tells me that my Pinky is an unusual creature. I don’t get it. She looks like a perfectly normal mugwamp to me!”
This is Lovely Katherine’s Corner, wearing the pink ghost dress that looks so good on her. The creature came to me in a swap years ago, and I’m sorry that I don’t remember the name of the talented person who made it. The hooded cape is from UnderUmbrelland on Etsy. This picture is for the theme “Unusual Creature” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr.
“There’s something enchanted about night. All those heavenly bodies, shooting stars, the crescent moon, celestial phenomenon.” —Luanne Rice
This is Chocolat Blythe, wearing her stock dress for the theme “Crescent Moon” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. I made the moon out of cardboard and aluminum foil. The background is wrapping paper.
At the stroke of midnight, when the I-Scream Parlor opens, Scarlet is pleased to find herself first in line at the takeaway hatch.
This Petite Blythe doll is Sweet Spell Scarlet; her two friends are Sonny Angel dolls. The I-Scream Parlor is a purse! I just got it, and a similar one for my daughter, to use when we go to Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens (there is a “no big bags” policy for this Halloween event, so these small, flat bags are perfect). It is so detailed and fun, and it even glows in the dark! It’s from Vendula London. For the theme “Midnight” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr.
We’re having a Boo Bash, and you are invited! Come dressed as a ghost…just “boo” it!
Bow Wow Trad is joined by all the different ghosts I could scare up for the theme “Just Boo It” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The background is a jigsaw puzzle.
It’s official: the color for this Halloween season is Bone White!
Cadence Majorette’s pale hair and complexion make her the ideal model for this color. This picture is for the theme “Bones” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr.
“Decorating for Halloween is so much fun!……Haha, who am I kidding? My house always looks like this!”
My Daunting Drusilla makes her first Halloween appearance of the year for the theme “Keep Out” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr.
It’s a beautiful night to walk through the cemetery and read the old epitaphs.
These Blythe dolls are Plaid Parade and Sarah Shades, wearing dresses I made, posing for the theme “Epitaph” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr.
One more picture for the Blythe doll giveaway in the group Blythe World on Facebook. These three brown-haired beauties are Dear Forest Dear, Raspberry Sorbet, and Blue Rabbit. RS was my very first Blythe, purchased in 2012, and I wondered at the time if I was nuts to pay $150 for a doll, because I was NOT a doll person. After getting her, it didn’t take long for me to become a doll person! DFD and BR appeal to me because they are very similar to my beloved Raspberry Sorbet…but I must admit that Blue Rabbit’s strong coloring makes her my favorite of the three. They are wearing dresses I made, and fun Halloween necklaces from my friend Angie Coppi.
If you are looking for a fun Fall activity, we suggest going to the pond to feed the ducks. Be sure to bring plenty of candy corn!
These Blythe dolls are Quintessential Journey (Neo) wearing Woolly Rockers, and Puchippu Chappu Pepa (Middie) wearing part of a set from Junie Moon, for the theme “Duck” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The Halloween treat bags are by Angie Coppi.
In Blythe World on Facebook, a very generous person is giving away three NRFB Blythe dolls. All you have to do to enter the giveaway is post a picture of one of your “grail” dolls, so I reached for Cinnamoroll. This is only the second picture I’ve taken of her, even though I’ve had her for a month or two…I just love this stock outfit and I wasn’t ready to change her clothes, but now that I’ve photographed her again, I will redress her soon.
“Anyone could see that the wind was a special wind this night, and the darkness took on a special feel because it was All Hallows’ Eve.” — Ray Bradbury, “The Halloween Tree”
These pretty witches are Aurella Amphitrite and Plaid Parade stirring up some magic for the theme “Stay Spooky” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. I made the illuminated smoke from scrapbooking paper, and put a small light in the cauldron for a spooky effect.
