I just got the stock outfit from Hunny Bunny; in addition to the rabbit costume (not pictured), there is a cute outfit that I divided between these two girls for this picture. On the left, headband, shoes and socks. On the right, dress, jacket and purse.

It’s been a while since Merry last wrote a letter to her old friend Madeline. Looking at their class picture (in the front row, Merry is the third girl from the right; Madeline is on the end) she tries to think of what she will say.
This Blythe doll is Prima Dolly Marigold posing for the theme “Write a Letter” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. She’s sitting in our new-to-us Madeline Pop Up Dollhouse. It’s a four room house made of cardboard that folds flat when not in use. I love the graphics on the walls and floors. I also found a set of Madeline dollhouse furniture on eBay; the chair and bookshelf are two of the pieces.

This is my Kenner Blythe doll, wearing Coquette Lumiere’s stock outfit for the theme “Bonnet” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. I named her Jane, so she must appear at least once for this month of Jane Austin-inspired daily themes!

These Blythe dolls are Ice Rune, Nellie Nibbles, and Playful Raindrops. Nellie is holding a very well-loved (meaning: in rough condition) old doll that I recently found at the antique mall. At first I looked at her, laughed, and walked on. Then I thought she would be perfect as a doll for a Blythe doll, so I went back to get her. Today’s theme is “Sense or Sensibility”; I started with the quote from Browning (which contains the word “senses” so it does actually touch upon the theme), then I put together this picture to try to capture the joy of living.
After doing extensive research, Savannah has concluded that there is no such thing as “too many books” or “too many cats”.

The big books in this picture came from my local library; patrons can donate unwanted books which the library sells for just one dollar! It’s actually been a few years since I’ve stepped foot in the library, though; recently, I’ve been doing all my reading electronically.
