Look Inside

“Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”  —C.G. Jung

This lovely Blythe doll is Bow Wow Trad. She’s posing for the theme “The answers are within” in Blythe Pure and Simple on Facebook.

Have a Good Day

Each day provides its own gifts.  —Marcus Aurelius

This Blythe doll is Spring Hope. The scene is a sheet of scrapbooking paper; I cut out the window opening so Hope could look out.

Read a Book

I read a lot. I need to have several new books on hand, so when I finish one, I can move right on to the next. The library is my friend! Recent favorites: Miss Benson’s Beetle by Rachel Joyce, and How the Penguins Saved Veronica by Hazel Prior.

This Blythe doll is Curly Blue Babe.

Donut

Donut let anyone tell you you’re less than incredible.

This Blythe doll is the incredible Pretty Peony. The background is a poster of a jigsaw puzzle I just completed; it was especially fun and easy to do thanks to the color arrangement.

Nature

“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.” —Albert Einstein

I thought I had taken enough pictures of Lady Panacea in her stock dress, until I happened to scroll through pictures of her on Instagram today. I saw how gorgeous she is in her stock and I needed to take one more.

Photographic Memory

“This picnic was a great idea, but now I’m too full to get up and take a picture for my scrapbook.”

“Make the effort! Your memory will fade, but a photograph lasts forever.”

These Blythe dolls are Sea Sailor See and UFO A Go Go. The picnic props are from Our Generation dolls at Target. This picture is for the weekly photo challenge theme “Make memories and share them” in the Facebook group Blythe Pure and Simple.

Travel and See the World

At the pre-flight meeting, everyone agreed that the tour guide was great, but the itinerary was rather confusing.

This Blythe doll is Spring Hope, wearing Asha Alvira’s stock shirt and trousers…and My Little Candy’s name tag! I didn’t expect to do so many pictures for the theme “Travel and see the world,” but it just happened that I had bought a new package of scrapbook paper the week before, with a travel theme. Some of the papers appear in the pictures (such as this one), and others served as inspiration.
