Part 25: Let’s Put On a Play!

Part 25: Using the costumes they found in the old cabinet for inspiration, the children came up with a play about a boy (played by Pippi, wearing lederhosen) who rescues lost pets (played by Grace and Apple, wearing cat and rabbit costumes). The acting was energetic and enthusiastic, and everyone agreed that it was a first-rate play.

These Middie Blythe dolls are Parson Grace, Apple Jamlicious, and Jolly Jumbly Pippilotta for “A first rate play” on Flickr and “Red hair” on Facebook. The cat and rabbit costumes are stock outfits from other Middies. The lederhosen outfit is for a Madame Alexander doll; I found the outfit—without the doll—at the antique mall.
