Gorgeous Flower
I'm not going to do all the "Blythe a Day" themes this month, because it takes a lot of time and I want to focus on sewing more...even though I REALLY miss taking a fun photo every day! Today I was messing around with a doll, and I noticed the light in the kitchen was making the amaryllis really glow a beautiful bright red, so I took put them together and got this pretty picture. This is a pot of three amaryllis bulbs that I leave on the front porch in the spring, summer and fall, and bring inside during the winter. I am always rewarded by three big stalks topped by these huge gorgeous blossoms in January or February. This is the smallest of the three plants!
This is Anna, me Curly Blue Babe Blythe doll.

Practice Makes Perfect
Blythe a Day July 22, 2015
Practice Makes Perfect
When Ivy heard someone say "Practice makes perfect," she immediately set a goal for herself. She will sew a new dress every day, until her sewing is perfect!
Ivy is my Prima Dolly Amaryllis.
