Today's fortune from a cookie:
"A dream you dream will come true."
After finishing my series of kitschy Valentines a couple of weeks ago, I wanted to do another series of Blythe photos, when the idea of making pictures to go with fortune cookie sayings popped into my head. There are tons of possibilities for photos, so here we go!
This is Prima Dolly Cassis, wearing the stock coat, boots and headband from Tsumori Spirit. One minute she was reading her fortune, and the next minute *POOF* she was heading to Paris!
Paige spent a whole day doing the photo shoot for this travel poster. Now she really wants to visit Florida!
Paige is my Pretty Peony Blythe doll. This picture is for the theme "Holiday/Traveling" in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. Her dress is from Prima Dolly Heather Sky. The background is an actual poster.
"It's been a long week of travel for me! So many flights; so much jostling about! I started in Japan, then flew to Chicago, where I was lost for a day or two. It's a relief to have reached my final destination at last: Williamsburg, Virginia. I'm home! And look--they're expecting me!"
I'm always listening for interesting names. "Zara" has come to my attention a couple of times recently; it's really pretty and unusual, just like Tsumori Spirit--so that's her name.
I've had the light box tucked away in my doll room for many months, but I haven't had just the right occasion to use it, until now. It really makes this picture work.
