Summer in the Country

My name is Bonnie, but my friends call me Lucky. See why?

She is Raspberry Sorbet, wearing Country Summer's stock dress, for the theme "Country Summer" in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The inspiration for this picture came when I found this four-leaf clover in the yard...I quickly got Bonnie dressed and we went out on the back porch...I took several shots of her, and then called it quits because it was HOT out there. When I looked at the pictures on the computer, I was sorry to see that none of them showed the clover in it's true glory; you can just barely make our the fourth leaf above Bonnie's hand. 

Lucky Girl

She searched in the emerald grass until she found it, that luckiest of plants: a four-leaf clover. Today is going to be a good day. 

This is Enchanted Petal; I call her Beryl. I found this cute plastic four-leaf clover in a toy store early this year, and I intended to use it in a St. Patrick's Day photo; but life got in the way and I didn't do a picture for St. Patty's Day after all.
