Google tells me that this quote is a Spanish proverb. I've never heard it before (maybe because I'm not Spanish!), but I love it!

I was waiting for this dolly-sized pool float to come in the mail so I could take another picture of Mermaid Tasha, this time in her swimsuit. She is wearing Curly Blue Babe's sunglasses. Looking good, Hannah!

The Shell Collector

Tasha is one of those lucky mermaids whose tail transforms into legs when she is on land. She doesn't stray far from the water, though...she walks along the shore and collect shells that she uses to decorate her underwater home. 

This beach-themed doll stand is one of the first things I made when I started collecting Blythes...and I finally have the perfect doll for it! Tasha is wearing her stock dress, to which I have added a tulle underskirt.

This is Mermaid Tasha, the newest addition to my Blythe family. I love her pale beauty! I also love that she comes with enough stock clothing to give her three different looks: a bathing suit for a day at the beach or pool; a mermaid tail for underwater fun; and a pretty dress she can wear any time, any place. I also like her crown, and her shell earrings, but I LOVE her starfish and pearl hair ornament!
