The Mermaid's Collection
Another perfect specimen for her collection.
I was planning to keep the name Tasha for this sweet mermaid. It would simplify the naming process to keep a normal-sounding stock name when I get a new doll. But as I was taking this picture I was thinking about how pretty Darryl Hannah was in the movie "Splash"...and then I knew that this girl's name was Hannah!

The Shell Collector
Tasha is one of those lucky mermaids whose tail transforms into legs when she is on land. She doesn't stray far from the water, though...she walks along the shore and collect shells that she uses to decorate her underwater home.
This beach-themed doll stand is one of the first things I made when I started collecting Blythes...and I finally have the perfect doll for it! Tasha is wearing her stock dress, to which I have added a tulle underskirt.
