Green #7: Irish Blessing
May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you wherever you go.
This is Sarah Shades, showing off her lovely green eyes. She makes the perfect Irish lass. The big gold shamrock came from Target. We got the cute cross-stitched hair clip in a swap with Morgan Johnston of 8BitBlythe on Etsy. Obviously, I made the dress Sarah is wearing, from the same fabric that makes up the background of this photo.

Green #5: Mint Madness
There are more shades of mint green than one might imagine!
From left to right: Miss Sally Rice, Prima Dolly Melon, Simply Peppermint, Cream Cheese and Jam. Besides the differences in their hair color, the differences in their complexions are very apparent when they are side by side. Cream Cheese and Jam is SO pink!

Change is Good
If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.
These lovely Blythes are both Miss Sally Rice; I call one Sally and one Suzy. This picture is for the "Green" series I am working on in March. There are so many shades of green! I love this minty color.

Green #3: Fly
When your cage door opens, don't just sit there--FLY!!
When I was planning this series of pictures for the theme "Green," Ichigo Heaven is NOT one of the dolls I intended to include...but as I tried to incorporate this cage and dress into a coherent picture, the bird picture I came up with (cut out of a greeting card) was pink, so a pink haired girl seemed to be the best choice. That's the creative process for you! Green background, green dress, green eyes...that's enough green, right?

Green #2: Fair Weather
The weather forecast in Blytheville is always great: warm and sunny. Don't forget your shades!
This Blythe doll is Lil' Heart by Milk. I call her Promise.

Green #1: Show Me Your Shamrocks
On Facebook there is a group called Blythe Pure and Simple which is just for stock Blythe dolls. We've recently started having photo challenges for our members; the current challenge theme is "Green." I've decided to do not one, but a whole series of pictures inspired by this challenge. Here's my first one, featuring Maeve, my Chocolat Blythe.
