Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Whose birthday is it today? It's MY birthday, woo-hoo! In light of current events, all regularly-scheduled birthday plans have been cancelled. Instead, I will go through the drive through at Starbucks for my free b-day coffee. Dinner will be take-out from Red Lobster (I have a weakness for coconut shrimp.)

June 2019 Calendar Page

I like to start a new month with new calendar cellphone wallpaper featuring: BLYTHE! June's model is Cream Cheese and Jam, wearing Mermaid Tasha's stock tail and bikini top. There was a lot of discussion when Mermaid Tasha came out regarding her hair color (blond); many (including myself) were of the opinion that a fantasy hair color would have suited a mermaid better. I solved the problem by putting the mermaid outfit on a different doll! The sunglasses are from Picnic Al Fresco. If you like this picture, feel free to use it on your phone.

Green #5: Mint Madness

There are more shades of mint green than one might imagine!

From left to right: Miss Sally Rice, Prima Dolly Melon, Simply Peppermint, Cream Cheese and Jam. Besides the differences in their hair color, the differences in their complexions are very apparent when they are side by side. Cream Cheese and Jam is SO pink!

It's been weighing heavily on my mind that I haven't posted ANY pictures in February yet, so today I made time to set up a picture that I've been planning for a while. These are three of my newest dolls, looking as pretty as a picture (Unicorn Maiden, Mermaid Tasha, and Cream Cheese and Jam.)

Winter

Every January, I need a quote like this! Even though our winter has been relatively mild so far, I feel much better when the temperatures are above 60 degrees. With Borland's quote in mind, I will just keep playing with my Blythes until Spring makes her appearance. 

This is Chloe, my Cream Cheese and Jam Blythe doll. Her hair is amazing! She is wearing a pretty sweater that was a Christmas gift from our friend Angie Coppi. It was made by Ulanna on Etsy. 

Pastel Christmas

Dreaming of a pastel Christmas.

This is  my new Cream Cheese and Jam Blythe doll, making another Christmas appearance to show off the fabulous dress we received from our friend Angie Coppi (it was made by Tired Mom Knits.)  We NEEDED a pink Christmas dress, so it was an amazing thing to receive! Thanks again Angie!

Is It Christmas Yet?

Santa Claus is coming to town!

These Blythe dolls are Cream Cheese & Jam, Spright Beauty, and Cadence Majorette. Aren't they pretty in their pastel holiday outfits? Thank you Angie for the gift of the cute Frosty Frock stock outfit (in the middle), I love it!

Here at my house, I've put up the Christmas tree in the living room, and the lights on the front door and the bushes along the front walk. I still need to decorate the mantel in the family room; then most of the preparations will be complete. I'm really enjoying taking Christmas-themed pictures of my dolls this week. I just hope I don't run out of ideas--or Christmas spirit--before the day actually arrives!

Skating Weather

Finally--it's skating weather! Chloe's off to find a frozen pond. 

I hope I'm not rushing the winter season too much! It's just that, now that the weather is colder, I'm ready for some frosty landscapes! I know that a lot of the eastern US got snow yesterday. Here in Virginia, it was just cold rain. Yuck! 

Chloe is my newest Blythe, Cream Cheese and Jam. 

Cream Cheese and Jam

Cream Cheese and Jam! What a funny name for this beautiful doll.  I'm currently trying to come up with a "real" name for her. Isn't she lovely, with her mint green hair? 

Her outfit is well-made and highly detailed. My favorite pieces are the hat and cape, because they are CUTE and they will work well together with other dresses on other dolls. I also like her shoes, which look quite different from any other Blythe shoes that we have. They fit well and go on easily, and the ankle strap should keep them on her little feet. 

She's only just arrived, and already she's taken the dog and gone out shopping!
