Be My Guest

"Welcome to my home. You're just in time for tea."

This is Mermaid Tasha posing on a jigsaw puzzle I just finished. Too bad this isn't how our home really looks! I've always enjoyed puzzles and I've done several of them recently.

Would You Like a Cup of Tea?

Some of my favorite books are those in which a character asks another character, "would you like a cup of tea?" followed by a cozy scene in the kitchen or in front of the fireplace. It gives me a nice feeling! These books are almost always set in England. The Charles Lenox Mysteries series, by Charles Finch, is a good example. I love this series and I'm sorry that I've read them all already--but I will read them again in another year or two. By then, I will have forgotten most of the details! This lovely Blythe doll is Mandy Cotton Candy.

Cup of Tea

Dear Home Sweet Home, you certainly are my cup of tea.

It took a lot of washing, but I finally got all the grease out of her hair! Someone recommend using Dawn Ultra, and when I was shopping for it I noticed another version of Dawn, called Dawn Ultra Platinum...which suggested to me that it was even better than Ultra, so I grabbed it, ran home, and gave her another shampoo. As you can see, the results were fabulous!

She is still in her stock outfit because I love it on her.

Coffee or Tea?

Juliette is enjoying a quiet moment, thinking about her favorite hot beverage: tea!

Juliette is my Sadie Sprinkles Blythe doll. Ain't she pretty?
