At the same moment, Hope and Claire noticed a ladybug crawling on Lanie's face, and moved to swat it off. Silly girls! Neither of them realized they each had something much stranger on their own faces!

These girls are Hope (Simply Peppermint), Lanie (My Little Candy), and Claire (I Love You It's True).

As soon as I got My Little Candy, the name Candy just seemed right for her, and I've called her that ever since...until this photo. I happen to love this dress on her, but it has an "L" on the heart (my pink haired girl Prima Dolly London--whom I call "London"--usually wears it). I decided the only thing to do was to give Candy a new name, starting with "L", so Lanie it is!

Wendy and Hope love any sort of transportation that involves horses, but they would especially love to ride in a magical horse-drawn pumpkin!

Purple-haired Wendy is Simply Lilac, and Hope is Simply Peppermint. The toys are from my daughter's childhood.

Monopoly

It's a tense competition, and at the moment there is no clear frontrunner.

These Blythes are Simply Peppermint (my Hope) and Simply Lilac (my Wendy). They were released in 2009 and have the RBL face mold.

The large Monopoly game is a special edition that was released in 1995 for Monopoly's 60th anniversary. I actually won it in a McDonald's giveaway--I peeled off a sticker from the side of a food container, and it was an instant winner!

Heart Collection

Of course you know I have a Blythe collection, but did you know I have a heart collection too?

Hearts are one of my favorite things. A couple of years ago I did a sew-a-heart-a-day challenge (the blog is HERE), and many of the hearts in this picture are from that; others are from craft swaps. It's so fun to see my dollies with my hearts!

Wendy is Simply Lilac and Hope is Simply Peppermint. They were released by Takara in 2009 and have the RBL face mold.

Beryl Meets Hope

The new girl, Beryl (Enchanted Petal, on the left), is being introduced to all the girls at Blythe Happy. Hope (Simply Peppermint) is very excited to meet her.

"Hi, I'm Hope, nice to meet you! We green-haired girls need to stick together! I hope you don't mind that I'm borrowing your extra dress, it looks great on me...is this all you have, two dresses?  Oh well, Leslie will make you some more. Your hat is so funny! What do you call it, a babushka?? (Raucous laughter.) Oh, I'm just kidding, I like your style, Beryl--you look like you just stepped out of a fairy tale!"

(Beryl does not seem to be amused.)
