Teddy Bear Picnic

There are few things as pleasant as a picnic eaten in perfect comfort.                         --W. Somerset Maugham

As a child, I loved stuffed animals, but I had kitties and bunnies rather than bears--so I've never had or attended a teddy bear picnic before. Is that weird?

These dolls are: on the far left, Middie Lena Elena; then Cinema Princess, Asha Alvira, and Sea Sailor See. The table and food are for Our Generation Dolls at Target. This picture is for the theme "Teddy Bear Picnic" in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr.

It's a Secret

They were looking for a nice spot for their picnic, but what they stumbled upon was a secret garden.

These Blythe dolls are Ichigo Heaven (pink hair) and Simply Sparkly Spark (blue hair.) I hope there is just enough gingham in their dresses for this picture to qualify for the theme "Gingham" in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr! The background is a 3' x 5' picture printed on fabric that I found on eBay.

Picnic

Each guest of Florence's Great Indoor Rainy Day Picnic is advised to bring her sweet tooth.

This Middie Blythe is Smiley Waffle. Her dolly friends are Lalaloopsies. This picture is for the theme "Picnic" in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr.

Picnic Time

Our favorite kind of weather is picnic weather!

Cousin Olivia, Ice Rune, and Nellie Nibbles get ready for their picnic. This is one of those pictures where the placement of the dolls, plus the camera angle, resulted in the girl in the back looking much smaller than the same-sized girl in the front.

Pictures in the Clouds

When they had eaten all the picnic food they could manage, the girls relaxed on the quilt and looked for pictures in the clouds.

These Blythes are Lady Camellia (Neo), Cool Pool Lemonade (Middie), and a Littlest Pet Shop Blythe doll.

Picnic in the Park

When the weather is this nice, it would just be WRONG to stay inside!

These Blythe dolls are Ice Rune and Cousin Olivia.
