Snow Doubt

I know that lots of people love winter--like this Blythe doll, Winterish Allure, does--but I am not one of them. Give me spring! I want to live in the month of May all my life!

I came across this pun when I was doing kitchy Valentines; it should actually say "'Snow' doubt about it, I want you to be my Valentine!" but I never managed to take the picture, so I thought, why not use it for a non-Valentine picture? Valentine's Day 2020 #1

I had a burst of inspiration yesterday: wouldn't it be fun to do a series of Blythe photos in the style of those kitschy Valentines, full of silly puns, that I remember exchanging with my classmates when I was in grade school? YES! So here's the first one. I have quite a few ideas for more of these, so I plan to post them regularly between now and February 14th. I hope you will enjoy seeing them; I know I will enjoy making them!

Chicken Painter

This Blythe doll, trying her hand at painting, is Winterish Allure. She is wearing Precocious Candy's Mushroom's stock outfit. Isn't that chicken painting the cutest thing? It was my Christmas gift from my artist daughter.

Gingerbread

It's four days after Christmas, and Marta has come to the conclusion that she made waaaaay too much gingerbread this year.

This Blythe doll is Winterish Allure; she was my Christmas present this year. Isn't she a beauty? I love her vibrant makeup. She's wearing her stock dress (which I love) but I replaced her stock vest with a short sleeved sweater that I knitted.
