Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Whose birthday is it today? It's MY birthday, woo-hoo! In light of current events, all regularly-scheduled birthday plans have been cancelled. Instead, I will go through the drive through at Starbucks for my free b-day coffee. Dinner will be take-out from Red Lobster (I have a weakness for coconut shrimp.)

This pretty Blythe doll is Cream Cheese and Jam, posing with a fun pin I bought to wear today. My birthday is highlighted! Isn't that awesome! Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!

Happy Birthday

Why not celebrate every day like it's your birthday?

This Blythe doll is Cream Cheese and Jam, posing for the theme "Happy Birthday" in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The cake (with pop-up candles) is a Barbie accessory.

Another Happy Birthday

I had such a nice birthday last Friday: my dear husband showered me with gifts, I received many warm wishes on Facebook, and I bought myself a doll! Yay! One of my favorite gifts from that day is this background my daughter Jenna drew for me to use in dolly photos. I told her I wanted something monochromatic, something like a sketch, something that looked like a storefront...and when I saw this Bakery background, my jaw dropped--it is EXACTLY what I wanted! She is such a talented artist (yes, she did go to art school), so to receive a hand-made gift from her is always exciting!

I like to make birthday-themed photos on a regular basis, so I will have something new to post on friends' timelines on Facebook when it is their special day. (If you want to "friend" me on Facebook, my name there is Leslie Ann Andersen, and I have Blythe dolls as my avatar.) I know just the person to be the first one to receive this picture on their timeline--I'm going to go post it now!

This is the purple-haired Anna Sui, whom I call Zelda.

Birthday Chair

As she headed to her favorite chair with her first cup of coffee, Claire was truly surprised to discover that Bree and April had gotten up extra early to wish her a happy birthday.

From left to right, they are: I Love You It's True, Lena Elena, and Nellie Nibbles.

This is the second in a series of Blythe photos using our favorite chair as the centerpiece.

Cake!

Something that makes you happy

There's nothing that makes us happier around here than BIRTHDAYS and CAKE!! (I also like to have a good photo to post on friends' walls on Facebook when it's their birthday...and I don't want to use the same one over and over...so this was a good theme to use for my own purpose!)

Happy Birthday

Birthday

Charity decided it was high time we had a party around here! Who cares if it isn't anyone's birthday--we'll have one big party for everyone! Happy Birthday to all my Blythe girls!

Charity is my Mod Molly Blythe doll. I happen to be the host for the Blythe a Day group on Flickr this month, and I chose this theme today because I like to have a good birthday photo to post on my dolly friends' Facebook walls on their special day--and I don't like using the same old pictures all the time! So here's a new one! Yay!

Birthday Dolls

Finally, all of my birthday dolls have arrived. I know I'm spoiled! I've already posted about Charlotte de Fleur (whom I am calling Fleur--never mind that her dress says "Ellie"!); I also adopted Prima Dolly London from a collector in England, and I found the middie Puchippu Chappu Pepa on Amazon for a good price. London and Pepa don't have names yet, but I'm working on that.

Obviously, I love the fantasy-haired girls. London has had a slight haircut (from her previous owner) which I think looks great. I love the contrast in style between London and Fleur! Pepa just arrived two days ago, and I haven't de-boxed her yet because she looks so cute just as she is...but it won't be long before she's out of there.
