Cherry Beach Sunset

Hello, Sunshine!

I didn't get the new Blythe doll, Pineapple Princess, because she is very similar to Cherry Beach Sunset, which I do have. But in the past few days, so many people on Facebook have been posting pictures of their new Pineapple Princess that it makes me wish I'd grabbed her when the pre-orders were open! Rather than obsess about what I don't have, though, I've decided to focus on what I DO have: my pretty Cherry Beach Sunset, Gidget. 

Beauty

Everyone is beautiful. 

This is my beautiful UFO A Go Go Blythe doll. I love this dress on her, and I just found out it is a Skipper dress from the 70's. When I bought my Kenner, the seller also sent this dress (and several others).

Picnic Time

Our favorite kind of weather is picnic weather!

Cousin Olivia, Ice Rune, and Nellie Nibbles get ready for their picnic. This is one of those pictures where the placement of the dolls, plus the camera angle, resulted in the girl in the back looking much smaller than the same-sized girl in the front. 

Cecilia Said Red

When she was asked her favorite color, it came as no surprise that Cecilia said, "Red".

Cecilia is my Cinema Princess Blythe doll. I've twisted her hair up onto the back of her head (and held it in place with many hair clips). She is wearing the stock dress from Love Mission. 

Pictures in the Clouds

When they had eaten all the picnic food they could manage, the girls relaxed on the quilt and looked for pictures in the clouds.
