It's time for a comparison shot: Cadence Majorette and her new friend, Tokyo Bright. Inquiring minds wanted to know whose hair is the lightest? As you can see, it's Tokyo Bright. Don't they both look amazing in their gowns and crowns? Cadence is wearing Rendezvous Chou Chou's stock gown and Tokyo is wearing her own stock gown.

Love is in the Air
This Blythe doll is Cadence Majorette posing for the theme "June Brides" in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. I almost skipped this theme because my dolls don't have a wedding dress or veil, but I thought I would try to improvise a veil with some net fabric and a crown-shaped hair clip. It worked out okay!

Tiny Tootsies
Kick off your shoes and enjoy the weather with us!
Starting at the top right and going clockwise, these Blythe dolls are My Little Candy, Tsumori Spirit, Coco Collette, Simply Lilac, Cadence Majorette, and Cream Cheese and Jam. This picture is for the theme "Barefoot" in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. (There's no hidden object, again--ugh. I just can't remember to include it.)

Watch Your Step
This Blythe doll is Cadence Majorette wearing a Blythe Happy dress. I made the banana peel out of polymer clay several years ago for a different picture of a dolly slipping and falling; I'm glad to get to use it again! This picture is #9 in my Valentine's Day 2020: Kitschy Valentines series.

Christmas Sisters
"It's not what's under the Christmas tree that matters, but who's around it."
--Charlie Brown
I set up this picture to try to show off our new Christmas chair--I love it so much, but it hardly shows once it has a couple of dolls on it! This small doll is a Littlest Pet Shop Blythe; her big sister is Cadence Majorette, wearing a pretty dress we just got in a swap. Below, you can see the rest of the swap from my partner (on Facebook) Sandie Sinatra.

July 2019 Calendar Page
A new month means a new calendar page for my cell phone's lock screen--and here it is. If you like it, feel free to use it on your phone too! I used one of my favorite pictures from last summer, with Cadence Majorette enjoying a fireworks display, and added the calendar using PicMonkey. I realize that this will have more meaning for residents of the USA, since this is typically how we celebrate our nation's Independence Day on July 4th, but I'm hoping that everyone will be able to enjoy it.
I love how it looks on my phone:

April Fools
Taking advantage of their sister's tendency to sleep like a log, the girls pull off an epic April Fool's prank.
Playful Raindrops is sleeping; the others are, from left to right, Cadence Majorette, Stella Savannah, and Cousin Olivia. The gorgeous quilt, pillow and sleep mask are by Angie Coppi of Goodnight Sweet Blythe on Facebook. The coffee shop and sidewalk is a photo printed on fabric that I found on eBay.

December 2018 Calendar Page
Tomorrow is the first day of December, so I've made a new Blythe doll calendar page to use as wallpaper on my phone. You can use it too if you like it--it's a little gift from me to you. Merry Christmas!
The featured doll is the lovely Cadence Majorette wearing a hat I knitted, and a cute dress I received in a swap. Her sled is a Christmas ornament from Target.
This is how it looks in action. I love having Blythe wallpaper; it makes me happy every time I check my phone!

Is It Christmas Yet?
Santa Claus is coming to town!
These Blythe dolls are Cream Cheese & Jam, Spright Beauty, and Cadence Majorette. Aren't they pretty in their pastel holiday outfits? Thank you Angie for the gift of the cute Frosty Frock stock outfit (in the middle), I love it!
Here at my house, I've put up the Christmas tree in the living room, and the lights on the front door and the bushes along the front walk. I still need to decorate the mantel in the family room; then most of the preparations will be complete. I'm really enjoying taking Christmas-themed pictures of my dolls this week. I just hope I don't run out of ideas--or Christmas spirit--before the day actually arrives!

Dreams Begin
Do you have a dream that you are following? Cadence Majorette has inspired me to think about this, and come up with something new to work toward in the coming year.

Celebrate!
Happy Independence Day, America! Enjoy the fireworks!
This is Cadence Majorette, wearing a dress I made. This is the first time I've used this cute fence that my husband gave me for Christmas--it's perfect for this theme! The fireworks are courtesy of PicMonkey.

Sleeping In
You don't have to be awake to enjoy a day off from work.
This sleeping beauty is Cadence Majorette. Her quilt and sleep mask were made by our friend Angie Coppi.

Cadence
Earlier this summer, when I was taking a red, white, and blue "4th of July" picture, I realized that I have dolls with red hair and blue hair, but none with white hair. I NEEDED a white-haired girl! So recently, when I came across a used Cadence Majorette at a great price, I couldn't say no. Here she is, my new girl Cadence. Her hair is a very pale blond rather than stark white, but it works for me! The pink dress she is wearing, from Honey Dolls, is also new to us, and she gets to be the first to wear it. (The headband actually goes with a different dress, but it goes well with this one too.)
Now I'm all set for July 4, 2018! In the meantime, I plan to take plenty of pictures of my pretty new girl.
