This Blythe doll is Milky Way Sugar, wearing a Blythe Happy dress that just happened to fit this theme perfectly. I was happy to have a chance to use these giant mushrooms again; they are made to be a yard ornament, but I love how magical they look in a doll photo. There's No Cause for Alarm

Beautiful Stella Serendipitous is one of my two silver haired Blythes; Leading Lady Lucy is the other one. I thought two was enough, but after posing her for this picture, I'm seriously thinking of trying to get my hands on Dark Rabbit Hole! This picture is #17 in my Valentine's Day 2020: Kitschy Valentines series.

Picnic Al Fresco knows what she likes...she likes donuts.

I just ADORE Mrs. Retro Mama in this vintage Skipper dress, and red shoes from Cherry Beach Sunset's stock outfit. Bananas are funny.

Snowflake Sonata is one of my favorite Blythe dolls, mainly because of her hair--it's long, straight, and PINK! This picture is #12 in my Valentine's Day 2020: Kitschy Valentines series. I made the outfit, and the cute blue bear was made by Maria Van Bruggen.

Bee Mine

My friend Angie suggested that I do a picture with a "bee mine" pun, using black and yellow as the colors, which I thought was a great idea. However, the only bee prop I have is this Jim Shore flower figurine, which happens to feature my favorite color combination of pink and turquoise...so the finished Valentine is quite different than the original idea.

That's No Yolk

This Blythe doll is My Little Candy. The amazing typewriter is made for My Generation dolls at Target. There are so many cool props for those dolls! The scale is a bit large for Blythe, but I think they look great in pictures anyway.

February 2019 Calendar Page

Tomorrow is the first day of February, so it's time to think about updating my cellphone wallpaper with a new calendar page. I went with the obvious theme--Valentine's Day--because I love hearts, and flowers, and pink. I won't mind seeing them even after Valentine's Day has come and gone. If you like this picture, feel free to use it on your cellphone. The second photo shows how it looks on my phone's lock screen.

Happy Valentine's Day to YOU!

I chose Prima Dolly London for this picture because her hair is the perfect color for today's Valentine theme. She's sitting on the lid of a Godiva chocolate box, which my dear husband gave me when we celebrated Valentine's Day on Monday...because today is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, and a day of fasting for Catholics, so eating chocolate and going out to a big dinner wouldn't work for us today! The card with the panda bear came in the mail from one of my Facebook dolly friends; what a nice surprise that was.

Flat

Fleur wouldn't dream of giving store-bought Valentine's Day cards to her friends; so she takes time in January to work on a picture. This year she's trying something new: a flat lay photo.
