In order to make these girls fit the theme, they needed cat ears, so I got out some felt, ribbon, and embroidery floss and whipped up these headbands. I’m sure they will come in handy again for costumes at Halloween!

This fabulous Ken doll is no David Bowie or Alice Cooper, but he is totally glam, so that’s all the justification I need to use him for this theme. I’ve been listening to The Barbie Album while using my treadmill, and “I’m Just Ken” is my favorite song on it. I’m a huge Ken fan! (Loved the movie too!)

The tiny dollar bills with which they are paying came out of my Mini Brands Advent calendar last month—that stack of money was my favorite gift in the calendar!

This is Jane, my one and only Kenner Blythe doll. Yes, I do have two of these beautiful carriers, both in pristine condition. I bought one; a few years later my sweet husband gave me the other one for Christmas. Jane is wearing an outfit a friend made for us. The blue dress is a vintage piece from Quick Curl Skipper.
