Anyone who watches much TV in the US will recognize this dialogue from a Twizzlers candy commercial. This ad airs frequently during the morning game shows, so I see it when I’m visiting with my mother. Not wearing white after Labor Day (an American holiday that falls on the first Monday in September and marks the unofficial end of summer) is an outdated etiquette rule. Go ahead, wear white whenever you want to, Sally!
