“My idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is very simple: loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that?” — Bob Hope

“Hey girls, what are you going to make with all those pumpkins?”
“Pumpkin pie, pumpkin soup, stuffed pumpkin, pumpkin fritters, pumpkin cake, pumpkin bread, pumpkin pasta, pumpkin risotto, pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin purée…”
Patty Patch and Mod Molly lead the parade, with a Littlest Pet Shop Blythe doll in the wagon bringing up the rear.
Be kind to every living thing.
This beautiful Blythe doll is Picnic Al Fresco. I wanted her to look like a nature girl, with bare feet and little braids in her hair, but it wasn’t working using her own hair. So, I dug up the separate braid that came with Bohemian Beats Again and wrapped it around her head. It worked great! The owl is an ornament, and the background is a poster.
Seek beauty every day.

Putting together a few fall outfits, Lady Camillia would like your opinion on something: “Do you think my Autumn Harvest hat is too much?”
All the clothes are stock pieces, except the hat (Elifins) and the handbag (from a mini surprise ball).

They had so many pumpkins, they decided to try selling homemade pie.
These Blythe dolls are Blue Rabbit (left) and Picnic Al Fresco (right), showing off their pink eye chips and the pie I made from foam clay. For the theme “Hello Pumpkin!” In the Blythe Pure and Simple group on Facebook.
A dolly friend wondered how my new Good Smile Blythe, Blue Rabbit, compares to the 2019 Takara release, Picnic Al Fresco. Here they are, taking a break from selling pumpkins on their family farm. Blue Rabbit is on the right, all in blue. I am shocked that I never before noticed how similar they are (probably because Picnic was at the back of a doll shelf, still wearing the outfit I photographed her in 10 months ago…sorry dear!)
Both dolls have the same hair style and length. Picnic’s hair is a slightly reddish brown. Rabbit’s hair is much thicker (just as thick as the first two Good Smile releases.) I didn’t think of Picnic’s hair as being thin until this comparison. Picnic’s skin tone and makeup are both a bit lighter than Rabbit’s, even though both are described as “fair” and “pink”. Both are lovely.
