Travel #6: Williamsburg, Day One

“It’s a beautiful spring day here in Williamsburg, Virginia. My name is Mary, and I’m touring the restored Colonial area; this lovely building behind me is the Governor’s Palace. Beginning in 1710, it was home to seven royal governors and the first two elected governors in Virginia. It was built to impress visitors with a display of authority and wealth.”

This Blythe doll is Song of London Mary. I don’t often take pictures of my dolls outside, and I thought the picture was a bit boring, so I edited it in PicCollage to make it more fun. For the “Travel” Blythe a Day group on Flickr.
