Here’s the cupcake I saved for you. I hid it in the vegetable bin; no one ever looks in there.
This Blythe doll is Mandy Cotton Candy, ushering in the Halloween season as a steampunk witch. The background is a jigsaw puzzle.

I found the cutest Halloween cupcakes at my favorite bakery today! I will give you one tomorrow…if there are any left.
This Blythe doll is Mandy Cotton Candy. This is my attempt to combine the two October themes we’re doing on Facebook—Bewitched and Steampunk—as an example picture to get everyone thinking about the possibilities. Her outfit definitely says “witch”, but my collection of props is sorely lacking in the area of steampunk…these leather goggles are the only thing I could come up with. It looks like all my October pictures will follow the Bewitched theme!
It’s time for black cats and pumpkins. Boo!
This Blythe doll is Cloud 9 Bowl for “Cats” on Flickr. Her hat is new, from Junie Moon this year.
Don’t forget to join the October Blythe a Day here: https://www.flickr.com/groups/14895391@N20/
I just picked up the cake for the party. It’s a real work of art!
This Blythe doll is Milky Way Sugar for “Party” on Facebook and “Art” on Flickr. She’s wearing a dress by WoollyRockers on Etsy. The background is a jigsaw puzzle.
I’m here for the cakes!
This Blythe doll is Cream Cheese and Jam for “Party, party, party” on Facebook. The cakes are part of a birthday card. I don’t know who made this lovely dress, which I purchased used several years ago.
This picture reminds me of the event called “Cake Picnic”; have you heard of it? Everyone who comes must bring a cake, then they each get a box and fill it with slices of whichever cakes they want to try. Sounds so fun!
Be weird! Who cares?
This Blythe doll is Lady Panacea. I’ve gathered a lot of Halloween props and I can’t wait for October, so I’m starting to use them now! I love this disco ball pumpkin I found at Target.
Our favorite party is our birthday party!
These Blythe dolls are Simply Mango and Simply Guava for “Party” on Facebook. I think of these two as twins, sharing a birthday. Flat lays are always fun to do!
Welcome to my costume party! Do you like this cake? I made it myself!
This Petite Blythe doll is Sweet Spell Scarlet, for “Party” on Facebook. Everything else in the picture is from the Calico Critters Halloween Surprise Party Set—even the background! That’s the box the set came in. Her hat is part of the set too; her black witch hat was too tall for this room.
Gather around, friends! The tea party has begun!
These Petite Blythe dolls are Tora Unpappa and Ivanka Corneille for “Party” on Facebook. Their furniture is the sitting room set by Tender Leaf. I had been thinking about getting it from the Safari Ltd website for a while, so when a great coupon popped up, I ordered it right away!
Sending all good wishes your way!
This Blythe doll is Prima Dolly London for “Party” on Facebook. She’s wearing Hunny Bunny’s stock dress. That’s a Barbie cake she’s holding; the candles retract when you twist the bottom.
Happy birthday to you! Or, happy UN-birthday, as the case may be!
This Blythe doll is Heavenly Strawberry, for “Party” on Facebook. I enjoy doing this sort of chalkboard flat lay, in which most of the props and background are drawn.
Arriving to the party at the same moment is so awkward! Who should ring the doorbell? What’s the protocol??
These Blythe dolls are Spring Hope (left) and Urban Fairy Ellie (right). I took this picture to compare them, since they are very similar, and for the theme “Party” on Facebook.
Welcome to the pool party! Let the fun begin!
This Middie Blythe doll is Yellow Marshmallow, for “Party” on Facebook. The background is part of a pop-up dollhouse book.
Hey, look at me! I’m a party animal!
This Blythe doll is Angellica Nurse of Compassion for “Party” on Facebook. She’s wearing Meowsy Wowsy’s stock outfit. I made the hat, balloons, and party horn out of paper.
You’re welcome to join the party; there’s plenty of cake!
These Blythe dolls are Simply Guava, Thumpty Thump, Sparkly Spark, and Bubble Boom, for “Party” on Facebook. I do seem to have a lot of cakes in my collection!
She knows what she likes!
This Blythe doll is Simply Bubble Boom for “Party” on Facebook. Her little friends are a Sonny Angel and a Lalaloopsy.
Let’s put on a record and get this slumber party started!
These Blythe dolls are Tsumori Spirit and UFO A GoGo for “Party” on Facebook. UFO’s hair used to look much more blue, but it has faded to green over the years.
